Pádaí is one of Dunloy’s greatest ambassadors. His schooldays began at St Joseph’s. He is the only boy and second youngest in a family of five. Pádaí has had no regrets about coming to CPC - it is a very good school; he has gained many new friends, and all the teachers and pupils are so friendly. Pádaí describes CPC as a truly welcoming, safe and warm community. He is a passionate sportsman; he just loves sport! He plays hurling for club and school, Gaelic for his club, and soccer for Ballymena United. Pádaí says sport gets him out of the house, keeps him fit and makes him really happy. He enjoys all the fun and friendships he has made from his wide sporting network. Pádaí’s proudest moment was when he won Player of the Tournament at Na Magha GAA Club. He also met two of his heroes: Peter Canavan, Tyrone footballer and Patrick Horgan, Cork hurler. Pádaí’s ambitions are to either play hurling for Antrim or become a professional soccer player. Despite his hectic sporting schedule, Pádaí enjoys learning; his favourite subjects are PE, ICT, drama and science. He also loves family holidays in France, Spain and Italy, and can’t wait to try out his new-found French language skills on his next visit to France! Bon chance Pádaí!
