We are delighted to announce that Caoimhe Wright has been shortlisted for the very prestigious British Education Awards, for 'Exceptional Achievement in Academic and Other Area'.
Caoimhe achieved 2A* grades and 1A grade at 'A'-level in the summer, scoring 100% in many of her modules. This was achieved by using her natural talents, but ensuring that she dedicated herself to many hours of study, working with teachers and a high level of attendance at our evening study - sometimes attending 4 nights a week until 8pm!
As well as excelling in her studies, Caoimhe had an unprecedented year of success on the Camogie field, including captaining her school in lifting the Ulster Title, playing a key role in her club's great success and winning an All-Ireland title with County Antrim.
Well done Caoimhe and good luck in the Awards Ceremony, which takes place in Manchester on January 29th!
