CPC's annual Sports day took place this year on Friday 16th June. Once again it was a brilliant day of competition and fun. Pupils from Years 8-11 took part in many track and field events including 100m & 200m sprint, 800m, high jump, shot put, long jump and javelin. Both staff and pupils really got into the spirit of the day and gave their all.
There were some brilliant individual performances and many CPC records were broken. New boys records were set in the 200m (Year 10 Connlaoth McTaggart), Shot putt (Year 9 Jacub Uminski & Year 11 Patsy McMullan).
New girls records were set in 100m (Year 8 Fionnuala Kelly), 200m (Year 9 Bernadine Hegarty), 800m (Year 8 Ellen McIntosh), Shot putt (Year 10 Erin Kyle) and Javelin (Year 11 Chloe Lennon).
