On Tuesday 26th September, language students in CPC celebrated European Day of Languages. This is an annual event which is celebrated in hundreds of European schools and it's a day to encourage language learning for young and old. It is also an opportunity to highlight cultural diversity, as there are dozens of languages spoken across Europe, and indeed several different languages spoken in CPC! This year our school marked the occasion by ensuring that the corridors were vibrant and filled with language facts, film clips, flags and music- not to mention staff speaking in various languages. All of our Key Stage 3 students took part in a fun languages fact finding quiz and everyone certainly learned a thing or two about languages! Thanks to Head of Modern Languages in CPC, Mrs Campbell, for organising the event.
