Ben O'Kane

Ben is a past pupil of St Joseph’s Dunloy and is a passionate Dunloy supporter with Armoy connections! Ben is a fanatical sports boy who lives and breathes Hurling, with Gaelic football being another of his interests. He has won honours with both his club and in school, scoring a brilliant goal as a Year 8 that helped CPC clinch the Danske Bank Ulster Schools Thompson Cup with a dramatic win over St Killians.

According to Ben the best things about CPC is the positive attitude everyone has and things reflects across all school life. He has got the opportunity to meet and develop new friendships with boys from other clubs.  His favourite subjects in school are Maths and PE. His ambition is to become a PE teacher and he certainly has all the leadership and personable qualities to achieve this. He is described by his peers as funny, trustworthy and overall Ben is a true gentleman.
