Liam Glackin

Liam began his school life at St Patrick’s, Loughgiel. He is the youngest in his family, and has two older sisters. His mum is also a former pupil. Sport was definitely one of the main reasons Liam came to CPC. But, because his friends were coming, and it had a good reputation academically, the decision wasn’t difficult. This modest and talented young man loves sport and plays football and hurling, the latter for club, school and county. Liam’s sporting career has seen him play on winning McNamee and Leonard Cup teams. More recently he was a member of the Mageean team. He is a keen skier, and enjoys gliding down the slopes in France. Liam describes CPC as a tight-knit school with a great sense of community. He is enjoying the sporting opportunities, has made numerous friends and is excelling academically. Liam’s favourite subjects are maths, PE and geography. In the years ahead, Liam would like to go to university to study physiotherapy or sports rehabilitation. He is a keen traveller and has already visited various parts of Europe, including Spain, France and Italy.
