The annual 'CPC's Got Talent' event took place on Friday 25th November. Once again this year the event was a tremendous success. A group Year 14 leisure Studies pupils planned, organised and carried out the event as part of their coursework.

After an audition process 11 acts were selected to take part in the event which was attended by all Year 8 & 9 pupils in the assembly hall. The acts included singers of pop and traditional music, a harpist, Irish dancers and comtemporary dancers. The event was expertly compered by Mrs Kelly.

The winners were voted for by the audience members and this year the Loughgiel Irish Dancers took first prize. In second place was Year 8 pupil Somhairle Mathers singing a traditional song and Year 14 duet Rachel Nolan and Emer O'Neill came third.
