Our Year 11 Hurlers recently lost out in the semi-final of the Ulster Colleges Leonard Cup to St. Patrick's Maghera. The game was played in Ballymena and after a slow start the CPC boys roared back into the game in the second half, cutting the deficit to 2 points. However a strong finish from maghera saw them though to the final. Under the guidance of Mr Cassidy and Mr kearney the boys put in a big effort over a number of weeks and this was a good experience for the Year 10 pupils who played. Hopefully many of the Year 11's can have a big impact during the Foresters Cup Campaign after Christmas.
