The qualification teaches generic leadership skills such as organisation, planning, communication and teamwork through the medium of sport. It is a fun and practical qualification and the pupils involved will take part in activities such as; planning and organising the Cumann na mBunscol camogie and hurling blitz, leading and evaluating a fitness lesson, maintaining a safe sporting environment and coaching in the community.
