Cross and Passion College have been taking part in the BBC News School Report for four years.  They have written, produced and broadcast various news reports on subjects as diverse as Fracking and the proposed North Coast National Park. Last year was our most exciting year to date when two students from Year 13, Sorcha and Bronagh, and Year 10, Lucy and Ada, went one step further and took over the BBC! The girls presented a 30 minute News Programme which the BBC hailed as “Undoubtedly the best yet.”

Students will be making the news for real again this year on 10 March 2016 as they take part in BBC News School Report. We aim to publish the news by 1600 GMT on the News Day, so please save this page as a favourite and return to it later.  In the meantime, take a look at some photos from last year.
